Our technical service department is run by our fully qualified and well respected technicians as a collective they hold over 25 years’ experience in the engineering field.  They regularly undertake all Tractive training courses, ensuring they are always up to date with the latest Tractive technology. Our sales office will be your first port of call when contacting us, where you will be put through to the engineering department.  Our highly skilled and accomplished technicians, will liaise with you every step of the way, from diagnosing and fault finding to the installation of new components. At Pentruder Uk we ensure that every service and repair undertaken includes a written report, detailing exactly the works carried out on your machine aswell as carrying out various test cuts on our testing slab facility to guarantee your machine is in perfect working order when it arrives safely back to you.

Pentruder Servicing and repairs

Repairs & Maintenance
Due to its reliability it’s not often that a Pentruder is in for repair, however if this should be case we understand the importance of getting support to the customer. Here at Pentruder UK, we are available for Technical telephone support 24 hours a day seven days a week.  Should one of your operators have a problem on site then were here to help. Initially, if the problem can’t be diagnosed or fixed via the phone, then our workshop is available, Monday to Friday for any servicing or repair requirements. All repairs and servicing will be turned around in the minimal of time, some cases on a “while u wait” basis (subject to parts availability). A 12 month warranty is given with regards to all components used on any repair or service.

Pentruder UK understand the important role your Pentruder saw plays in your business – simply put “no saw… no work”. We appreciate that if your saw is not running, you’re not earning money. Therefore as part of our service Pentruder UK have available five complete back-up saws, in a range of sizes and performance. These saws are offered to our customers for use whilst your saw is either in for repair or servicing. So you have peace of mind that should there be a failure then there is back up equipment specifically available at Pentruder UK (subject to availability).

Pentruder Servicing and repairs

Furthermore Pentruder UK are able to arrange collection and delivery to and from any site. Within a 100 mile radius from Pentruder UK there is a small charge of £25 each way. Outside this radius delivery collection charges will be higher depending on the location; this is however kept to a minimal fee. Congestion charge zones will be charged extra. Alternatively, we can arrange delivery and collection via a courier – charges will apply.

Service and General Maintenance of Equipment
Here at Pentruder UK we understand the importance of “reliability” and the role it plays in your business. That’s why; it’s important to ensure that regular maintenance and servicing is carried to your equipment. For safe and uninterrupted operation of your machines and for validation of the warranty, the complete machine should be brought back to Pentruder UK for service at the following stipulated service intervals.

OIL CHANGE AND INSPECTION:
Recommended every 80 hours
This includes an oil change and general inspection of your equipment. Required as part of the manufacturer’s warranty.

FULL OVERHAUL:
Recommended every 160-180 hours
This includes a full overhaul of your equipment.

GENERAL EVERYDAY MAINTENANCE:
For the machine to remain in a condition which is safe for operation at all times, certain everyday maintenance is needed.  If there is risk of freezing please ensure the machine is drained of water and pay extra attention to the power pack.  Always store the machine in a dry place, preferably above freezing temperature.– please refer to your Operators Manual for further details.

Retipping
With the addition of our diamond tool division, Pentruder UK offers a full core drill retipping service for those who wish to reuse their old tubes. This service is carried out on site at our premises in East Sussex, we can arrange collection of your tubes (delivery/collection charges may apply) or your welcome to pop your tubes down to us. We simply cut back the old segments off the tube, clean up and rebraze new segments on in whatever specification you require whether it be an array segment ARIX or our more traditional segment Eazicut.

We can carry out retips to all diameter sizes from 10mm to 600mm at any length. Retip prices are a fraction of the cost of a new core drill price, so you’re not only doing your bit for the environment by recycling your old tubes but you’re also saving yourself money too!
